Halal International Selangor inks MoU to expand training collaboration

SERDANG (Oct 20): Halal International Selangor (HIS) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with several universities and also certification bodies from the United Kingdom, China and Taiwan under the Halal Technical Competent Person (HTCP) program to establish and expand training collaboration in HTCP to strengthen the competency in the Halal industries and provide universities new avenues to diversify educational offerings and build knowledge towards global Halal assurance

HIS, a subsidiary of Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd signed the MoU at the Selangor International Expo 2016 today. 

It signed the MoU with the European Halal Development Agency Limited (EHDA) from U.K., Korea Institute of Halal Industry (KIHI), The Industrial Development & Investment Promotion Committee of Tainan City and others. 

HIS has embarked on one of their ten Halalan Toyyiban EcoSystem which is Halal Technical Competent Person (HTCP) under the Human Capital Development Program. 

HTCP also enables businesses that are in the process of getting Halal approval to access the Halalan Toyyiban trade and industry faster and easier. 

The HTCP program is a 1.5 year program. 

HIS is a training program that will attributes the 24/7 halal assurance with the aim of widening access to training and validating that will facilitate economic and social cross culture in the network of countries as a "Single Community Global Markets".
